I was born in Croft Street, Roath. I stayed there until I was 15 or 16 and then moved and had a flat. I got married at 21 and spent most of my married life in Roath. In fact the house that I lived in, in Roath, I had been in 52 years. That was on Glenroy Street. I had one daughter and then didn't want any others because of the war, oh no actually we were in rooms then, on Claude Road and then we moved to Glenroy Street. I had my other daughter there.
