They permanently hired me. After that I did various work with local PA Companies and then formed Meltdown in 1986. It was an organisation of 3 people who put on events. We started off in the downstairs bar at Chapter and then moved to the Welsh club after about 3 years. We would book people in and other people would show up to play. If there were events in Cardiff, like they do in the summer, they would always ask us to do the stage management and organise the local bands.
