Terry O'Neil has been involved in the Cardiff music scene all his life.

There were some disc jockeys who were real characters. One of the strangest, because he was so different to all the rest was a guy by the name of Paul. I know he was a county councillor in the vale of Glamorgan where as most DJ's came in with open shirts and jeans he always came in wearing a suite, always had a briefcase and a tie. He would open his briefcase and know what he wanted and could I get this and that. He started doing a lot of music for fashion shows in places like David Morgan's and Howells and all those sorts of places. He set up really big Disco and lighting shows for that kind of thing. He was highly professional and ended up doing some superb work in that field. He wasn't like a lot of the local DJ's who were just making a noise for a local party I met a few interesting people like that who were a bit out of the ordinary.
