Canton is still a mixture of shops, there is not so many food shops as their used to be because the Supermarkets have eaten up everything else. There are now more charity shops in Canton than specialist shops. It is still a very sought after area to live in. The house prices are phenomenal! It is not necessarily a good thing because the normal people can't afford to live there anymore, they have to move elsewhere.
