We used to have a stock keeper here called Milly, Miss Miller and she had a specific chair which she wrote her name on. She would often use this chair to get things down in the stock room. On one occasion I borrowed her chair and she gave me hell for it. Some years later a chair broke on the switchboard so I went of down the corridor and found an old chair that was hanging around. I vacuumed it off and as I turned it upside down I saw it had Milly on the bottom. I thought oh my God it is Miss Miller's Chair, she told me when I first started that we don't earn much money but we do see life- I sat on this chair to talk to the girls on the switchboard. As I sat down the Lift shaft blew open and an icy wind hit me. I though, Milly is telling me to get off her chair 35 years later!
