Phil Babot came to Cardiff to study. He first lived in Roath and then moved to Windsor Esplanade In the Docks

The other place I wanted to tell you about was the Royal Oak pub on the bottom of Broadway. It is the best pub in Cardiff, run by Mike and Kitty Flynn. It was the famous Jim Driscoll left his Lonsdale belt there and there was a gym upstairs. I went to this amazing New Orleans style funeral at St Mary's church at the top of Bute Street for Jackie Chambers. There was a man with a bowler hat and a jazz band leading the procession with a hearse. There was close to 1000 people there.
There is a photo in the Oak of a group of men that look like cattle rustlers wearing big coats and Stetsons. It says underneath the Splott Posse. I don't know what they were, Police or Criminals.
It is also the only place in Cardiff that you can still get SA on Gravity.
