Jiffy has been involved in the Cardiff music scene for many years. He has organised many events across town including Meltdown.

We ended up doing 2 or 3 nights a week in the moon club in Cardiff. We finished in the moon club at 12am and would then carry the gear across the car park to Smiliey's and do another gig over there. That went on for a few years, every Wednesday and Thursday.
The moon Club was where the Marriott hotel is now, on the old Hayes.
In that area there was an open-air market that has moved behind the library now and the Moon Club was behind that. Behind that again there were all little streets with Pubs like the Salutation and the Fishguard. The only one still there is The Golden Cross. We always used to go to The Salutation, waiting for the moon club to open and have a couple of pints with Captain Blood and his Mrs. Captain Blood was the landlord. His sir name was blood, so everyone called him Captain Blood.
