Mrs. Morgan grew up in Adamsdown and remembers the old market there, her husband also lived in the area.
We lived in Adamsdown Square and there was a big drinking fountain there with iron cups on chains. You could also go to Victoria Park. You could go there for a penny, all the way, through town, through Queen Street to see Billy the Seal. They would have monkey's in cages.
