I was born and bred in Cardiff, as were both my parents before me and my grandparents who were both from Wales. So my family is very much a Cardiffian family going back several generations. I was born at Roath Park Lake on one of the roads leading off the lake, my Grandfather was a builder, he died before I was born, but he started off working as a Foreman at the New Theatre when It was first built. He then formed his own company and built some the houses off lake Road West, and indeed that is where I was born and bought up.
