Pam Watkins grew up in Tremorfa and went to Lady Margaret school on Colchester Avenue.

The secondary schools were Splott Road and I passed the 11+ and went to Lady Margaret on Colchester Avenue. This was a beautiful building it was a purpose built school and it was like an e shape with wood block floors upstairs and down. It was a beautiful school but they choose to knock that down and keep Howardian
They built Willows, which is back in Tremorfa. Where Willows Avenue is there used to be a road there with a big gate that said 'Tidefields'. So that was built on the Tidefields. Then it was name after what's his name, Willows who built the air field, ship.
