Oh there was another thing- nobody would dare to walk through anything like it today, there used to be a tunnel from the end of Ferry Road that went under the water under the dock and came up under the Penarth dock. It was very eerie when you walked through this tunnel. It would take about ten minutes to walk from one side to the other. If there was somebody up ahead talking it made and eerie echoing sound. I never felt scared. It was just like a tunnel. I used to go under there with my parents.
