Jesse Spillane is a member of the Cardiff Friendship Force Club. The group was set up to organise international exchanges between families. Jesse has been involved with the organisation since it began in 1980.

We used to have regular meetings in the city Hall in those days and it would be the meeting place for visitors coming to Cardiff. They would always be so impressed with the City Hall. The council of that day was so helpful to us. We used to use Cardiff Castle for the Farewell party and I can remember when we had the Norwegians in there was a broadcaster who made recordings back to Norway about his experiences in Cardiff.
